The Shower the Story

Over in Mannequin Madness Five in Yahoo Groups, I have posted two pictures for a story called "The Shower". In it Randy is taking a shower and the soap and shampoo have been laced with a mannequinizing agent. It is unknown whether or not Randy notices her body is changing because the soap is leaving her with a tingling sensation that she enjoys. About midway through her shower the person who is responsible comes into the bathroom and watches Randy just before introducing them self and explaining what is happening and will happen. Randy makes an attempt to turn the shower off and get out of there but finds her body has frozen in place. The person then sort of taunts her as she becomes a mannequin.

I have gotten stuck a little bit with the introduction of the person. I have an idea of what I want the person to say about how they got but it sounds a bit cheesy in my mind. I am planning on turning this into a story that will be posted on the Legacy of Timeless Beauty Archive because there are things that I want to include that I won't be able to do in the picture story. Plus I have wanted to get back into writing a little bit and I feel like this is a good way of doing it.

Pin Up Mannequin

The Medusa Cave

Here is another picture that I am working. The concept is that Cora Lee is exploring a cave system when she comes across a creature living in the cave. I am not sure how to proceed though. I was thinking about having it start with her clothed and then including a description of her taking her clothes off before the creature. Any opinions on this would be good.

An interesting note on these pictures is that the prop they are on is very small and the blackness behind them is actually the background color of Daz Studio.

Zombie Love Doll

Here is a concept for a love doll picture that I want to do but I don't know how to go. I want to thank Northern Chill for his "Night of the Living Dolls" story which provides the inspiration. The premise is that Rexana has been turned into a love doll and her friend Ursula finds her like this. In Ursula's presence the doll comes to life. The doll pulls Ursula onto the bed and rips her outfit off before having it's way with her and turning Ursula into a fellow love doll.

Another New Subject

This is Renata. I downloaded her a few days ago with Rexana and Ursula. I didn't have her in the group picture in the previous post because I didn't have a mannequin color for her until today.

A Batch of New Women

Here is a group of women that I plan on doing more pictures with. From left to right they are Lan Ying, Carol, Rexana, Ursula, and Cora Lee. I've had Lan Ying, Carol, and Cora Lee for a while now but wasn't satisfied with hair styles for them until now. Rexana and Ursula I got a few days ago. I have done some initial pictures with them, nothing major yet.

The Golden Apple

These pictures are from an idea that I want to complete dealing with a partial deconstruction of the golden apple motif in Greek and Norse mythology. In those myths the apples help keep the gods immortal but I don't think we are ever shown a mortal eating the apples. I was thinking of doing a transformation sequence for this picture but I don't know whether to have her clothed or nude.

Love Doll Fun

Here is just a quick picture that I did. I wanted to use Daz's Michael 4 figure more and also show the love doll figures that I make in use.

First Mannequin Attempts

Here are some of my first attempts at doing mannequin pictures. From left to right are Vivian, Lyn, and some woman I forgot who she is. I can't remember how it happened but I used a latex shader I have on the figures and then I added the skin textures to them.

Two Year Anniversary

I just wanted to leave a quick note saying that it has been two years this month since I started these pictures. I feel like doing something special but I am not sure what. I am planning on posting my first attempt at a mannequin picture on here.

Mannequin Parts and Pieces and a Review

A few weeks ago I purchased this item on DAZ 3D to make mannequins: http://www.daz3d.com/i/3d-models/-/v4-mannequin?item=10560&_m=d& I originally purchased it when it was on sale at RuntimeDNA but I could never get the morphs right. The morphs are fairly simple. You have wrist, ankle, and hip seams; and the options to make the arms, legs, and head disappear. It also comes with a morph to change the figure's face. I like it because with the morphs I can make my mannequin figures more real. What I don't like is that the morphs are so limited. The only form that I can do completely is a torso form. I can't create just bra forms or pantyhose forms. I can create something close by making the heads and arms disappear and using the hip seam. Also we get seams for the wrists and ankles but the arms disappear around the shoulder and the legs about mid-thigh but no seams for those areas. I need to email the creator of this item with suggestions for an updated version if he plans on doing one.

Below I have some pictures that I have done with this. I have been thinking of doing something horror like where the women are torso forms but not yet fully turned.

Experiments in Refraction

For about the past week I have been messing around with the simple shapes that come with DAZ Studio and the refractive settings. I have been thinking of of doing a picture or two where women are encased in a glass object kind of like a snow globe.

Latex/Blowup Doll Alison

An Older Forgotten Idea

I was going through older pictures I have done and I came across this picture. The figure in black and white was to be a villainess who would touch people with her cane and turn them to stone. Maybe I will return to this idea.

Blue Light Special

Just having some fun with the spotlights. I used three spotlights in these pictures. One facing her, one behind her, and one over her. The first picture looks the way that it does because I used the shadow option on the spotlights and all the lights are blue. In the second one, only the over head light has been colored blue and has the shadow option. I love how the blue light looks in the second picture. Everything around it is dark but it is so bright.

Fun With Lighting

I did these pictures about a week ago and these pictures have an almost realistic look about them. I am not sure what does it, whether it is the shadowy lighting or the image quality of the materials used on the figure. In the last two pictures her hair looks so real that you can almost touch it. In the first if you look at the arms you can see the realistic effect.
