Three Years and One Week Ago

I just wanted to say that his been three years since I started doing
the 3d pictures. According to the DAZ 3D site I joined on 5/23 I would
have made an announcement earlier but was wrapped up in work.

Situation Update

I think I have pulled most of the files that I could from old drive and
installed them on the new one. I re-added most of them to DAZ
in a new location. Now comes the hard part of redownloading
everything from DAZ3d, Renderosity, RuntimeDNA, Content
Paradise, and other sites. DAZ will be the worst because I will have
to submit a request to redownload the stuff and their stuff is not in
zip files so I will have to reinstall each and every file one at a time.
The other sites' files are in zip format so I can do one big extract and
call it a day. Wish me luck.

Going Away For a Little While

Hey everyone,

I am going to be gone from the artwork for a little while. My external hard drive that has all my files on it is acting up and I am going to be spending about a week or two either redownloading most of my stuff or trying to move things over to another hard drive. The upside is that the characters Randy and Alison are not lost like I orginally feared. The drive is acting weird because if the files are arranged in alphabetical order then not everything shows up it only goes to a certain letter and stops if the files are arranged in order by modify then it will show everything. My biggest concern is getting all the free stuff that I have downloaded again. The paid stuff will be easy because they are still listed on the sites I bought them from and most of them can be redownloaded easily. Wish me luck everyone. Hopefully I will be back soon with nary a hiccup. Some files might be lost but they will probably stuff that I don't use a lot.

The Shower the Story

Over in Mannequin Madness Five in Yahoo Groups, I have posted two pictures for a story called "The Shower". In it Randy is taking a shower and the soap and shampoo have been laced with a mannequinizing agent. It is unknown whether or not Randy notices her body is changing because the soap is leaving her with a tingling sensation that she enjoys. About midway through her shower the person who is responsible comes into the bathroom and watches Randy just before introducing them self and explaining what is happening and will happen. Randy makes an attempt to turn the shower off and get out of there but finds her body has frozen in place. The person then sort of taunts her as she becomes a mannequin.

I have gotten stuck a little bit with the introduction of the person. I have an idea of what I want the person to say about how they got but it sounds a bit cheesy in my mind. I am planning on turning this into a story that will be posted on the Legacy of Timeless Beauty Archive because there are things that I want to include that I won't be able to do in the picture story. Plus I have wanted to get back into writing a little bit and I feel like this is a good way of doing it.

The Medusa Cave

Here is another picture that I am working. The concept is that Cora Lee is exploring a cave system when she comes across a creature living in the cave. I am not sure how to proceed though. I was thinking about having it start with her clothed and then including a description of her taking her clothes off before the creature. Any opinions on this would be good.

An interesting note on these pictures is that the prop they are on is very small and the blackness behind them is actually the background color of Daz Studio.
